Abstract Pistacia khinjuk is one of the pistachio species and native medicinal plant of Iran. This plant has shown many pharmacological activities and has been used in traditional medicine for the treatment of various diseases. The present experimental study was designed to evaluate the effects of the hydroalcoholic extract of khinjuk on the hematological parameters of rats. Eighteen male Wistar rats were divided into 3 six-member groups. Groups 1 to 3 were treated with 200 mg/kg bw of the extract, 400 mg/kg bw of the extract and distilled water (control group) for 30 days, respectively.
